The OneDB Database system internally uses an SQL architecture which ensures both speed and stability whether
on networks large or small
OneDB was created from the beginning to work, unlike many other database system, across wide area networks
connected by
dial up ISDN lines, ADSL circuits(Broadband Internet) or faster links (frame relay).
Many extra features are included in OneDb that are particularly useful in real world applications like unlimited job nesting
which enables operators to open new jobs without having to
close the job they are currently working on, a feature found especially useful in a tele-contact
environment.
OneDb Reports are web based and can in consequence be accessed from any computer on a companies network providing the computers user has the necessary
"permissions" to acess the required information. In this way managers can access reports such as stock level, sales enquiry sources etc.
without having to have the database client software installed on their computer.
We have also provided full ODBC complance for easy exchange of information with other applications such as MS Excel or Powerpoint.
Security for the information stored on the system is provided by password controlled user "permissions" that enable the range of data available
to each individual users to be controlled. In this way diffrent users can have a diffrent range of data available to the depending on their
need preventing unauthorised access to sensitive data.
